HUGE Update! (1st of a few posts)- Playoff Game
Well hello, my few readers. I stopped my photo challenge, just because, well I didn't really have a camera anymore. But I DO NOW! yipee. It is a beautiful Canon T2i. Used, but in excellent condition. I got it off of eBay for a pretty good deal and I am LOVING having my own nice camera!

Well as a disclaimer, and before you read(or rather look on) because of this new beauty. I have been taking LOTS of pictures. So, don't say I didn't warn you.
My first batch of picture is on a thumb-drive somewhere and can't find those at the moment, but will share them when I find it.
So next up, is Brent's playoff game. They did so well! He is on a great team, and it was fun to be able to take some pictures of him and his team.
They won their game 4 to 1 so they get to play in the championship game tomorrow night!

Something I'm learning is that since the lens I was using( 70-200 L lens) only goes down to f/4.0 and the focus was quickly moving and it was late at night, it was hard to get the exposure I needed while having their arms and bats staying in focus. So I had to do the best I could. I put the aperture down as low as it could go, put the shutter speed as fast as it could go while letting enough light in and then adjusting my iso to make it all work. It's still not fast enough, but pretty good for what I had to work with.

Week 5: May 29- June 4
Wait for it....that's right, more baseball pictures!!! Except this time I got to use my friend Tara's 70-200 lens, so I looked all official. I was able to zoom in a bit more to get some better in-field ones.
Brent rounding the bases...

...to score a run!

Look at the sky! Isn't it brilliant?!
After Friday night baseball we packed up and headed to Warm River Campsites
It was a nice place, we've never been that north before. We enjoyed some yummy tin foil dinners with some good friends. Tara has those pictures.

I only have one more "photography" week, then the camera so generously lent to me will be on it's way to it's new home : ( I hope to make this week good!

My Crafty Self
Aren't all women instantaneously crafty when they get married? Well I have been trying to find my inner craft since tying the knot, and so far I have done ok. I made a fun online scrapbook of our wedding pictures. The site to make one of your own is found here. I'll have to post a picture of that on here sometime, but for now and most recently I made this cute hat box.

I just got a hat box from Tuesday Morning, printed out a bunch of black and white pictures and modge podged them to the box. Simple and I think it turned out nicely.

Week 4: May 22-28
This week was uneventful. But I got to do a few photo shoots with Tara
Although I have nothing exciting to report.... here are a few of my pictures from this week.
Drive to Idaho Falls

Me tagging along on an engagement photo shoot

Isn't Rexburg really cool looking?... In a rustic/vintage kind of way

Week 3: May 15-21
It's Spring! and I can't get over the skies here in Idaho. They are SO beautiful and full of big, white, fluffy clouds.
This is from Brent's game on Friday, but look at the sky!! It's so magnificent. It's been a bit rainy the past couple of days, but I love it here in the SPRING!

Brent at his game (more baseball pics, sorry...but he looks so good ; )

And here are my artsy pics for the week.

We did go camping last night, but didn't get any pictures as it was very dark. Alas, next time.
